knit as u go

I have a new WIP called “knitting as u go”. I started to knit Lizard Ridge. However, this pattern uses approximately 21 skeins of Noro and is overwhelming on my budget if bought all at once. By "knitting as you go", I can buy 1 or 2 skeins at a time and knit a square or two at a leisurely pace.

It looks really great so far. Did you get the pattern figured out?

Very pretty! I can appreciate the working in the budget method. Is there a worry about dye lot numbers, although with Noro I suppose it would be less of an issue...

That looks really pretty and is a great idea - perhaps that's what I should do with my single ball of Kureyon (I couldn't not buy it). Hmmm.

Cheryl - Dye lots shouldn't be an issue as you can use a different colourway for each block anyway.
